Frequent FPS drops and stuttering
After the last update, my game seems to have very frequent stuttering and massive fps drops for a few seconds. Previously I did not face this at all and it used to run smoothly. Is it only me who's facing this?
Other games run fine.
I run it on 16GB, Ryzen 5 4600H, SSD and GTX 1650.
Even in low graphics mode this issue occurs. Can someone help me?

destiny servers are taking a massive influx of players and the servers are very unsteady rn. the stutter is most likely server based. d2 legacy was released on egs and a lot of people downloading, trying to log in for the first time ever. you could try a driver update for the gpu, but i'm pretty sure its because of the servers.

Got 2 Error codes like weasel in the last 15 mins but no FPS drops at all game runs like before, just the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ servers are doing what they did last months ... nothing good...

Have done that. Running on latest driver updates. No luck. It goes even bad while being in The Tower. Guess nothing can be done then but hope that they fix something which probably they will not.

Same here, everytime people use abilities or super, for me its fps drop even crash the game, idk why, way back shadowkeep release, the game smooth like butter. No lag or no fps drop, but now single stasis wall shatter, lag my pc out.

It particularly started happening for me after this week's maintenance break. Tried many things but no luck. Hope the devs take notice and do something about it.

You might try putting an FPS cap in the game. Stuttering is commonly caused by the GPU hammering the CPU and then having to wait on the CPU, causing hitches and stuttering. If you have a 60Hz display, it's pointless to try to do 200 FPS. Try lowering the cap until the issue is gone. Or, if you have a 60Hz display, maybe go right to 60 FPS cap, on a lower end rig that usually makes for much smoother experience. And they say that with lower FPS you take less damage.

GTX 1650 = RX 570 4gb equivalent. now RX 580 from second hand consignment only cost 50$.
