How bad is crucible?

I played crucible for about 3 years now
Played it yesterday
And lost every match because my entire team would get wiped out in seconds.
Most of matches i end up being the last one alive. And then get spammed on my entire team of sliding shotgun sweats.

so i decided to try another game
Downloaded fortnite and tried it for the first time.

was placing second in every matvh and even managed to win one im assuming against fortnite sweat. Since it was comp.


Already did that with other games
Played halo first time kept winning matches solo and team
Same with modern warfare.
Literally played on a controller and managed to get more kills than 3 years pc player.
I never played on a controller like ever in my life. And still did better than crucible.

Also have been playing pvp since rainbow six rogue spear and unreal tournament so yes i do have experience

And from that experience i can still say that crucible is the most unplayable and the least enjoyable pvp out of all of them.

Why?
1 bungie refusing to fix matchmaking
I get 3 noobs on my team matched against full team of sweats.
2 sweats constantly spamming meta ability in every match.
3 bungie again refusing to fix very important bug (the refresh rate /damage increase) where i get one shotted by auto rifle from across the map while landing 4-5 scout rifle shots on the guy and not even breaking his shield

checkmate makes pvp actually bearable but they took it away for a bit
but it no longer starts you with special ammo nor does it drop it on kill, thus fixing the biggest issue with pvp.
it raises ability cooldowns/ they only regen in chunks after each kill, fixing another huge problem
heavy ammo is removed, thank ♥♥♥♥

Crucible is beyond saving at this point.

Too many people hack.
Every 3rd game someone will instantly head-shot my entire team no matter where they are in the map, in a 1/4 of a second.
Then my teams leaves the game.
Play 2 more average games, then BAM another hacker.

Matchmaking is quite bizarre, I agree. Several games are completely one sided and end in mercies - more often this season than last. Perhaps a significant proportion of the player base for PvP is fed up and have moved on and you're matching the same top 0.1% every time? I know I am and it's not much fun ...

True story - but I was in crucible "control" last night and this hunter teleported behind my team's back and was able to wipe half of us out before we got him. He then proceed to backcap at will. Hadn't seen that one before so I congratulated him and reported. The hackers seem to come out during prime evening time, 7 - 10pm EST which sucks but is what is. Bungie will eventually nail them, usually within a few days. But playing outside those times has been pleasant for the most part.

Controllers though ought to be separated from mouse/keyboard - I am tired of your guys stupid auto-aim correction so you can just fire at will with no recoil.

So not all crucible is bad, mayhem is still fun, control is still fun, other modes, well to each their own I guess. My apologies Gambit, I don't know how to fix you - except change it to Assault.

Been playing fortnite for last 2 days and its way more fun to play.
Yea i get trapped once in a while and get taken out right at the begining of the match but at least its not by sliding shotgun sweats shotgunning me across the map in scout range

The "sliding shotgun" is easy to counter - just use your radar and keep backing away. If you are constantly charging without a shotgun, or 600+ round/min gun, you have only yourself to blame. I'm not even that good and even I can counter shotguns, stealth, and snipers - most of the time by just keeping my eyes open and keep distance between me and anyone else.

But Destiny 2 is not for everyone, I hope you enjoy Fortnite, maybe you would like the Finals as well. Thanks for stopping by!

It's terrible. Ever since the the Steam transfer it got worse over and over. Every day it gets worse over and over. Pvp is way beyond garbage. Not like Pve is in any better state

Toxic community, try harders who will flame you if you don't play exactly how they want, and most the majority of players who don't want to be there, but have to, to complete seasonal challenges, some story missions, or weapon catalyst.

nothing will change that, it is an actual disgrace.
maybe play if the pool has something cool in it, other than that, ♥♥♥♥ no, actual ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ gamemode.

extremely. there is not a single redeeming quality to any of the pvp in this game, its genuinely some of the worst expiriences i've ever had in gaming as a whole.

if you're not someone with no life, no friends, no job, and nothign to live for but playing destiny 2 pvp for 10 years straight, its not even worth setting foot in crucible for anything other than the 8 bounties a week for some free bright dust.
