Havent played since beyond light, worth getting back into?

Ive not followed destiny too closely but people seem to not like the way development has been going. Is it fun still? Should I get back into it? If yes is there anything I should know beforehand?

Since BL? Massive improvements since then. BL was debatably the worst point the game was in.

If you haven't paid for anything since Beyond Light, your purchases have effectively been wiped. You will be locked out of most content from the get-go.

I put nearly $200 into this game before the move to Steam. All of it's gone thanks to the Destiny Content Vault and the inane decision to "sunset" previous gear.

I'm a paying customer and I'm considered equivalent to an F2P player who decided tonight to download the game. That's what I'm pointing out.

Well boohoo. I was in the game on BNet too, and I'm not whining about the vault or the sunset. At the time it kind of sucked, but I thought better than the other choice of a couple of years of no Destiny content. The gear, has been replaced with better, again, at the moment it sucked, this is not that moment, there is much better gear now.

If you had Forsaken, the best parts of it are still here.

It would be nice if people could just stop the beating of the dead horse.

No, Europa is part of Beyond Light, it's still here. You get Stasis on your other characters by playing the campaign with them, only now getting grenades, aspects etc is easier, you can just buy them with glimmer.

Oh thats cool, so no content is cut? I liked doing the raid. Its one of the few ones i actually had the time to do a few times. Im asking cus you said Shadowkeep and some of Forsaken is there. It made it sound like BL was gone

The best parts of Forsaken, all of Shadowkeep, Beyond Light, Witch Queen and Lightfall are in game. What was removed was year one content, the stuff before Forsaken.
