Was a great map for doing a lil' sparrow racing against your friends.
And the hands down best strike in destiny Savathuns song.
I remember being a dumb ass teenager catching the slight end of it thinking I had found some mad Easter egg and spent hours staring into the ocean fun memories
Yeah, Titan was definitely my Favourite D2 planet,
There was something about being surrounded by all that water... found it a relaxing place to farm bounties or simply just waste some time.
It defined the art style and story of Destiny.
IO in D2.
It was filled with developer leftovers from changes made long ago and ideas long dead.
Yup. Small but perfectly formed. I miss Titan most.
Speaking purely visually:
The EDZ is probably the least interesting. The Cosmodrome is cool, I love looking at the remains of all those massive starships.
Luna is cool, in a bleak and harsh way. The Hive sections are wonderfully creepy and haunted-house like.
Nessus is fantastic looking.
Io was beautiful.
Titan was fascinating.
The Tangled Shore was great, all sorts of visual range there.
The Dreaming City is fun.
Mercury was ... tiny. I liked the potential of Mercury, but I don't feel like it got well realized. I especially loved Golden Age Mercury.
Europa is kind of boring, but even there, I like the hidden Clovis Bray sections and the Riis Reborn sections.
The Throne World is fun and varied, and has all sorts of interesting nooks and crannies.
Probably the one I found the most boring visually ... was ... Mars. Although the sections of Rasputin's various core areas were interesting.
