Bird error

Is anyone else having lots of bird errors? It doesn't seem to be my connection, because everything else is stable. I am also on ethernet. If you know how to fix this please let me know. I have tried a lot of troubleshooting and nothing has worked. At this point it has to be a game issue I think.

Almost every nether runs I get a bird error and it send me back to orbit. Happens when entering the portals after defeating the first boss. Annoying and a complete waste of time. Also not my connection with 10gbps fiber optic...

I haven't gotten a single error code. Instead, my game freezes while going to my menu. The everything disappears except the background and the buttons at the bottom, and I can't back out, bring up the game settings... nothing. I have to use the Windows key and kill the game by closing the little button on the tab at the bottom of my PC. It's been doing this since the new update.

I've encountered some serious bugs over the years, but this "season" is by far one of the most clunky, bug-riddled, pieces of trash to be shoe-horned into this monster of a game.

Yeah, too often (1/4 success ratio). Bird mosty, guitar. Maybe reconnecting again? Haha, no) Hey, we have some paid cosmetics for better visuals instead! :/

i have bird message error and back orbit in the nightfall mission.. sometime i can finish the nightfall, sometime not..

i was having the same issue, i was using the prismatic subclass and always was happening. Switched back to using Void and haven'd had an issue since.

The forums are saying it has something to do with using Prismatic. Hopefully whatever it is, we get a fix soon. Both the devs & community can't catch a break for very long.

I just came on to post about this also.
I cannot play more than 20 minutes before getting dropped with a "bird" error code from Bungie...... it is not on my end, this is either Bungie or Steam.

I have actually been dropped quite a few times since Tuesday...
Bungie keeps promising to fix their server issues (since 2015), but they continue... one of the main reasons I quite in 2017... that and the DLC ripoff.

Oh so it's related to using the prismatic subclass? Might explain why then, all I've been playing so far this episode was prismatic warlock. Too much bird errors man it's annoying.

I will try to play with other subclass then prismatic.
After searching on reddit this issue appear only on pc, PlayStation player don't have this issue.. very strange if the bird code error came because it's a bug with prismatic class.. why only pc player's have this problem...

Not sure, but I can tell you from personal experience I have only been given bird error while playing Prismatic since the start of the episode. I'm certain that's what's been doing it for me. I've been switching to all other Sub-classes with no issues.

Also getting constant bird error codes. Cant even get through a normal vanguard strike without getting kicked to orbit. If the "fix" rn really is to not play prismatic then I guess I'll be taking another break from this dumpster fire of a game because I dont wanna use normal subclasses

same issue here since the new season started, nightfalls or long activites are impossible to complete

can confirm using prismatic will result in bird error, using other class seems solved it for me
