The End of an Era
So I pre-ordered Destiny 1. It was a good game, my first introduction to Bungie to be honest since I was too young to remember the Halo days. I was 13, I came home from school and wrestling practice and just sit down and play a couple of strikes and nightfall missions. I put over 1500 hours onto D1. I liked it, I remember the day that they transitioned D2 to Xbox One and phased out the Xbox 360. So what do I do? My parents got me an Xbox One for Christmas and I play Destiny 2 on it. I got the first two DLCs which I thought were ok. Then Forsaken came out, and that was the best DLC since Taken King. I was having fun, but like all things, that fun comes to an end. I stopped playing when they introduced the first "battle pass" season. I was in college when I came back and bought all the DLCs and pre-ordered Lightfall. Not the smartest thing, since it was expensive. I thought the game was ok, but I still liked D1 better, it just felt like it was polished, refined, and was simpler. Complicated builds, weapon crafting, exclusive rewards, over priced DLC, and all for what? Money. Bungie, as I have come to find out, is a very greedy company. I came back yesterday to play D2 for the first time in over a year and a half to play. I played the first prismatic mission that was free, and honestly, it just feels so alien from the game I grew up playing and looked forward too at the end of every day. I will be 23 next month, and for almost 10 years of on and off play, I can say that if Bungie doesn't get a grip soon, their "prize hog," that is Destiny 2, will be emaciated forever. The leadership needs to change, the company vision needs to change overall. A company cannot survive when they keep spending money they don't have. I thought that the Sony buy-out would have saved them, but it seems that nothing really changed. I miss that feeling that I actually wanted to play, I miss friendly players who actually enjoyed the game and didnt cheat, I miss old game mechanics, I even miss Dinklebot, I miss Destiny's flair and creativity it used to have, not this endless battle pass model that is only good for a quick cash grab. So, after almost 10 years of on and off playing, I will have to say that I will be leaving Destiny, forever, never to return, keep your eyes up Guardians.

Paragraphs are a thing, if you can't be bothered to format, I can't be bothered to read.
