Free update, cool loot with some cracked rolls, and introducing a system to tutorialize the harder content in the game so new and more casual players can see said content and learn it in preparation for doing it for real to get the actual loot from that content.

It’s actually one of the best ideas they’ve ever had, and I hope they expand it out to more dungeons and attempt it with raids at some point.

honestly three weeks of the same dungeon is a bit too much. If the loot was a bit more cracked for spire I dont think people would be complaining as much.

Its good on paper but when everything is timegated by 3 weeks it kinda falls apart

You're right - most live service games provide free updates that have significantly more content and no rehashed re-skinned weapons and maps. People are blindly defending this mediocre event.
