Cause I'm getting the want of a combined arms mode from Destiny 1 from seeing this.

If you're young and hip like all the cool kids where a gameboy advance sp is older than you...
Destiny 1 had a gamemode that was basically big team battle or team heavies from Halo.
With Vehicles and stuff.

I'm not sure it's a double tap, but definitely a quadruple tap, versus the Brigs' quintuple tap.

i do feel that it should be tanks v tanks and brigs v brigs that way there is 0 way it can be unfair and then it just comes to skill

This, also the one singular map (guess the devs are to lazy to provide 2 or 3 for variety) sucks. The map is too small, too many choke points and too many obstacles, you basically get stuck 50% of the time on a rock or another player.....
