That Destiny Portal thing looks great.

Looks like a huge quality of life improvement to me. What do you guys think?

It’s basically a UI update to make it easier and quicker to find stuff

I don't really know anything about Destiny or the Portal, but i did see a logo on the side of a bus in traffic once.

Remains to actually be seen, but imo from what we saw, it's a lot uglier than the iconic Destinations tab, and seems to misrepresent the actual difficulty tiers. On the stream, they said that the "pinnacle ops" includes stuff like exotic missions which are... not at all pinnacle. That's an early game activity, don't scare off new players from their free exotics. Also not a fan of their solution to GMs dying is... another difficulty tier above it.

Once again, this is ALL SPECULATION. Remains to be seen.

they turned something that people who actually played the game dont have an issue with and turned it into the new fortnite ui style which looks ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ imo

I thought the portal thing they showed looked easy to read and convenient. I have never played fortnight. What is bad about fortnight's UI?

It's pretty much designed for new players to make it easier for them to figure out what's going on. The old director isn't going anywhere, it's in the “worlds” tab now.
