sony acquisition forcing bungie to make bad decisions?
literally just a clickbait discussion starter title. but... do we think big corpo rules are forcing bungie to make a ton of stuff they dont want to? case and point all the poor casual inclusive decisions with marathon making the game to simple.. and maybe even this star wars stuff seen in this reveal?

I've been playing since D1 so that totally means my word means more (it doesn't) and I like the changes, it feels less "casual" and more "quality of life", it'll take some time to adjust to the new ui but I think it's sorta for the best as it's a bit cluttered right now.

The Star Wars stuff came wayyyy out of left field but I won't complain about it, I think there is potential there to tell an interesting story and give us some iconic sci-fi items to mess with in Destiny 2. It's a little odd since I don't know how or if this will tie into the story but we'll just have to wait and see I suppose.

i see... i just see so many odd design choices coming from a renowned studio. it just seems odd to go against every bit of feedback offered in regards to a game like marathon.. and do your own thing. i dont play destiny as much but ive heard many mixed things about choices and content being removed etc etc.

Bungie has been very capable of making bad decisions all the way back to BNet days and before.

SONY doesn't have any decision control for Bungie. Its all just Bungie making poor decisions and ignoring its devs a lot. In my opinion, SONY fully owning d2 would significantly be better. Unless new ceo
Sony buy a indie company..
