What am I suppose to do?

I'm trying to get to rank 5 but i need a specific enigram quest. I was told i need to do all the new light stuff, but now im at a part where i have to do 2035 stuff and im 1960. I cant use armor and weapon mods until i get to rank 5 though

go to the quest archive in the tower, its next to the postmaster, the quest will be there

If I can remember... this quest become avaliable after complete the new light campaign, all steps. Then you get with Zavala or Ikora, can't remember ... but is get with one of them.

thats the current issue the enemies in the next part of new light are like 2040 and im only 1960. so i need to get score to complete this step but i cant if it takes 2 hours to complete the encounter

Which quest step?, there should be no enemy in the exotic quest that is 2040, that sounds like you're playing an (mid) / end-game activity you're not suppose to yet.

I'm suppose to do a 3 person raid or something to complete new light and I've read after I complete new light then I can acquire the exotic quest

Hard to tell what's going on without knowing if you already picked up the quest "A Spark of Hope" from Ikora on the tower and which quest step you currently are.

Most of the activities in Destiny 2 can be played up to three (3) players with the exception of some activities such as Dares of Eternity that can be played up to six (6) players as well as Raids which was designed for six (6) players.

The exotic quest to earn Riskrunner is called "Risk/Reward" which is step 10 from the "A Spark of Hope" quest.

Unfortunately most quests can't be replayed without creating a new account or class that hasn't finished the quest yet but I'm very certain the "Risk/Reward" exotic quest doesn't have enemies with 2040 power.

she doesnt have it for me yet i was told i need to finish new light which currently wants me to do nightfall and score well on it to boot. which i cant do as it takes like 2+ hours to slaug through it. Is it locked behind a dlc?

What is the quest called?, I don't remember all of them and most of them probably has been changed many times last time I did a new account to experience what a new player would.

The issue is rank 5 is saved across all characters so most veterans don't have the same issue. It's a spark of hope once more

Unless the details is outdated on the page, it doesn't say anything about a Nightfall Strike or a Vanguard Strike but once you reached step 10 where it says "complete the mission Risk/Reward ..." there should be a marker on the EDZ (Europoean Dead Zone) to start the mission.

Regarding Nightfall Strikes, some Nightfalls are free to all players and some require specific DLC's to be owned to participate.

Unlike Vanguard Strikes, Nightfall Strikes is on a weekly roatation that can drop Nightfall Weapons.
The higher the difficulty and score (Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum) the higher the chance to drop a Nightfall weapon with additional rewards.

we are getting mixed up, Spark of Hope- is what i need to do but cant find, according to my friends i have to finish the new light quest line
New light questline- says i need to do nightfall strike which is like 80 power points above what im at so i cant really do them
