FPS drops
I've been experiencing some fps drops in most of the gamemodes and places (even trials which I consider to be "lightest" for the game to run), like every 20 seconds it drops like 30 fps. It's weird because even when I lower all graphic settings this problem persists, even tho I play on medium settings all ready.

Radeon 5700xt
Ryzen 7 5700g
32 gb ram

This game is very well optimized and can basically run on a toaster. Something is wrong with your computer.
I have the same cpu as you. I noticed in a cut scene, my fps would be 30. In gameplay, it's 130 fps, lol

maybe check background processes for any GPU consuming processes ? maybe some malware

Most cutscenes in D2 are just 30 fps, like trials, entering the lighhouse... 30 fps

The cutscene is a video playback, they determine the frame rate, normally 30FPS.

I'll check it out but there can't be no malware, I just fresh installed windows again lol
I also had this problem, but lowering all my graphics settings to the floor helped a ton. Now I don't have those problems. And I don't notice any thing looking different.

That's the thing, even if I lower all my settings, the framerate is the same. These past couple of days I've been tweaking everything all over my computer. Seems to have gotten a little better, but the conclusion seems to be: Either my computer just doesn't like D2 for whatever reason, or my Power supply is dying which is possible because is a little old :lunar2019piginablanket:

Do you use any kind of VPN? Because my framerate went to the moon once I was done tweaking the settings and VPN.
I fixed my fps drops by deleting battleye folder in Destiny2 directory and let it redownload again, also some mini cache file, just in case..

Fps IS more stable now, atm in tower.

Also returned to older driver 573.04 vulakn , this helped the most.

Nope, no VPN at all. And what settings do you mean?

I noticed this as well.. well not low fps, but some strange fps drops, where usually it's fine and 144HZ vsync cap.

This started to happen more recenlty, I think since last update.

Now when I checked more I saw BEservice.exe monitors mouse movements and can use up to 3% cpu usage calls (this is total usage from all 8 cores). I think that is a lot. I dont know what it does, but sometimes it makes fps drops from 144 to 100fps by quick moves and it kills the immersion quickly.

At first I thought it's new nvidia 576.02 or 576.15hf driver, but now I suspect this anticheat bs doing some mubojumbo lol

ps i still have ok pc, 11700kf oc'd and 3080ti I game at 1080p and 150% downsample.
You know that's actually really similar to what happens over here. I'll check it out thanks!

And about the drivers, I use AMD and I already checked with some old trusty drivers I had with me, "windows stock" drivers and the newest. Seems to me the latest work the best. But thanks for suggesting that too! :praisesun:

No problem :),

for me it was all in one, but that different driver helped the most, I also had sluggish menu interaction and now it's completely fine.

Also moon sorrow harbor test passed, stabler fps.
