That's... literally it.
I absolutely despise season passes, and gating new content behind them is a surefire way to ensure I will never spend a cent on your company. A friend bought me enough of the game that I could easily enjoy it with him and help him grind out exotic missions; beyond that, I found the story to be needlessly stretched out and tedious to grind through. Gambit is the only PvE in the game that I truly, unconditionally enjoy. It and IB/crucible are casual enough that I can log in once in a blue moon, have some fun shooting people around corners with Fighting Lion, and generally enjoy a bit of no-consequences PvP for a few days before remembering how badly I need a good PvP MMORPG to properly scratch the itch.
Couldn't care less about the overarching narrative, unless they make the story free again and de-gate everything. I play games for fun. I largely avoid value extraction mechanics.
