Time Wasted on Destiny - What's your Time

Hey,

we all no the website and most of us got Half / Half

Play / Afk Time

got 1400h AFK
got 1400h Played

I think Orbit and Loading Times are counted as AFK Time; not sure about Tower

its about 100 hours less total from what Steam says my playtime is but close enough

Steam counts from the time you click launch, so loading time is included. If you are AFK while loading (getting snacks and drink etc) that is counted.

The AFK time is half of my play time. I find that ridiculous the loading screen doesnt add up that much. It must be including the time you spend in the tower running around as part of the quest vendor to vendor and organizing your vault. All that is part of the game and you can not play the game without doing those so it should count into the play time as you do play the game actively while doing those chores.

One thing I found that helps is I use DIM and the Destiny 2 app. I can equip my character with what I want to use and get any bounties I might want before I load the game. I can also use DIM to move things from the vault that I want to dismantle to the character I am about to use, load up, go to a patrol zone, open backpack and dismantle the items I want gone. Then go on to what I want to do.
