No, but I would advise you to proceed with extreme caution when looking for third party websites selling such.

More often than not, places selling in game currency for cheap tends to be a scam. Some sites sell stolen codes which when redeemed could result in whoever redeemed the code being banned by the platform.


My advice is to stick to official places selling Sliver, such as Steam.

There's not a lot of flexibility when it comes to premium currencies.

I've seen it go on sale once only, that was almost exactly this time last year, according to my purchase history. So don't expect that kind of discount.

Trying to look elsewhere will just lead you to scams. People will use stolen credit cards to load an empty Epic Games account with something like 80,000 Silver and sell those for cheap. Firstly and most obviously it's at the mercy of a chargeback, the second issue is that this is no use to players with an established account already. To use that Silver you need to not only play the game on Epic but the Epic account has to be the Active account. Adding it as a dormant account in cross-save, will make the Silver go dormant too, and be inaccessible even if launched on Epic.
