but honestly after you finish those two theres nothing left. Guardian games is basically over at this point as well.
For 70% off I would grab it tho
any word on more dlc coming or new destinations?
Google Destiny 2 Apollo DLC. There is coming more probably late summer or this fall.
Since LF launch the big things added
2 raids (CE/SE)
4 dungeons (2 separate keys though)
new subclass
5 exotic missions (Starcrossed in the rotator, Dual Destiny from TFS, and 1 mission each in the 3 "episodes")
Whisper/Zero Hour returned, which if you didn't play originally is another 2 exotic missions added, they are in the F2P pool.
Onslaught, a wave based PvE playlist, with unique loot with drop focusing at Zavala.
Also probably more I'm forgetting and a bunch of balance/QoL stuff here at there. Plenty added to do.
Live with this now
PvE ? maybe
Don't lie to the man please! Based of angry and jaded feelings only look through logical and current content .
The current content is fun Nether and court of blades are fun and some of the builds are some of the best they ever been. Titan is crazy this season along with having a sword with flash counter basically allow you to take near to no damage at all . Then we have boss rush kinda of mode with orxy and the trials of the nine thing coming in 6 days to do contest mode on older dungeons with new loot rolls on older weapons coming back . Apollo will bring a new refreshing outlook to destiny 2 Rogue light , Metroidvania Kinda of vibes along with no longer being a linear story where your locked out of content now its no longer time gated and you can choose how you want to tackle it .
Current content is still boring and not respectful of player time. Removed crafting again from seasonals lmao.
The rest of that comment reads like an advertisement coupled with the "the game will be much better next expansion!" Cope that's been circulating for years, I remember hearing that for beyond light, Shadowkeep and lightfall. Monitization has only been worse and worse, especially since the 45% revenue miss. Congrats they did the bare minimum and made the game good to play and 99% of the experience still sucks.no meaningful changes
You can't accuse someone of lying because they are angry or jaded and then proceed to give your opinion on if the current season is fun or not. You find the current season fun and worth it but others do not. The best answer to the OP question is to give facts and not opinions such as, "There is some things to do like nether or court of blades. Description of what both of those are insert here" - The OP would then need to determine for themselves if these things seem fun and worth it.
Did you think that through at all?
I don't mean to be too condescending, but for what purpose did you originally play the game if what has transpired in the past few years is "No meaningful change"? The game has seen multiple reworks in various areas, such as moving away from bounties as an XP source, replaced with a new system that does not require one to keep visiting the tower, an in-game LFG, raid/dungeon loot Bad Luck Protection that promotes doing triumphs, almost always enhancable weapons, etc. Yes these are smaller than, say, some massive Destiny 3 update that adds exclusively what you want, but don't act like nothing ever changes. It's reductive and really makes me wonder why you even bother following any news about the game when only a specific niche of possibilities even count to you.
Also, the monetization has not changed at all since OP originally left the game (Early 2023). The things that the person above listed are valid reasons to be excited about the game's future, just beause some Bungie exec revealed a profit statistic and they added 10 LL per season doesn't mean you need to complain to every prospective player.
Finaly somthing new ngl always do the same thing :_;
These are small quality-of-life improvements, sure, but they don’t address the core issues that have been prevalent for years—things like the lack of meaningful content updates and the overwhelming monetization. It’s great that there’s Bad Luck Protection or enhancements, but those are just systems that address symptoms, not the larger problems with the game. I don't think anyone is asking for a Destiny 3, but the direction seems more focused on making a profit than delivering something that feels truly substantial or rewarding.
Apparently asking the billion dollar company to make a good game is a specific niche? The games been 7 years of "more destiny". It's not working. It's not bringing in new players, and TFS sold less than lightfall.
But hey, apparently being critical is lying, and brings the same 3 people to the thread with their same tired defenses, saying I'm scaring the new people away.
