Exotic Engrams
Do Exotic Engrams give all kinds of exotics in the collections list? Aside from dungeons/quest ofc.

Last time I played lost sectors use to give specific exotics but now i see the reward as exotic engram only.

Exotic engrams, when not focused, will drop items from Red War era through Shadowkeep era, but starting with the Beyond Light era exotic armor, you will need to max out and reset rahool's rank to unlock "novel decryption" in which you spend 1 exotic cipher to be able to focus any armor piece in the game.

You can go into his focused decryption section to find out what "era" an armor piece is from. Once a piece is unlocked in your collections, duplicates will begin to drop from unfocused engrams.

You will have to see Master Rahool to decrypt these engrams if you want from expansion as well.

They won't give you exotics from deleted quests, dungeons, and raids either. You'll need to visit the Monument to Lost Lights for those. I highly recommend Witherhoard, by the way.

Only free base game. You can read each exotic engram category represent.
