The Final Shape Annual Pass Edition gives The Final Shape expansion, all three season passes, and the Final Shape dungeon key.
The Final Shape Annual Pass Upgrade is 'just' the three season passes and the dungeon key, so it's an upgrade that turns the standard version into the annual pass version (though you already owned one pass, that much is wasted).
As far as I'm aware, you aren't supposed to be able to buy the upgrade editions if you don't own the base expansion, but I understand that more than a few people DID manage to buy it this time around. If it is even possible to buy it - no, you will not get Prismatic. That requires The Final Shape ownership, not the episode/dungeon add-ons.
I don't remember an expansion ever including a season
Basically this started either in shadowkeep or with Beyond Light. Either way it's been in the game for a long time.
