here's the build i used for a long time; changed a bit over the years but was always fundamentally the same

arc titan, with thundercrash, thruster, catapult lift, seismic strike, pulse grenades
touch of thunder and knockout aspects
feedback, magnitude, shock, and resistance fragments

kinetic weapon was a ragnhild crafted with barrel shroud, tactical mag, with subsistence and one-two, and then a backup mag mod

energy weapon was salvager's salvo, with demolitionist and chain selected, and a quick access mod

heavy was thunderlord, but anything works really. i used the apex predator rocket launcher when i needed a bazook for boss damage

for my armor, i focused on resilience recovery and discipline; pretty standard i think

my exotic was heart of inmost light so i can spam abilities; still the best titan exotic and nothing comes close (except for the exotic class item with a mini HOIL built in)

helmet mods were hands on, harmonic siphon and powerful friends

arm mods were heavy handed, focusing strike, and impact induction

chest mods were double melee resist and harmonic reserves

leg mods were absolution, recuperation, and better already

mark mods were double distribution and bomber

for the actual gameplay you'll want to use your thruster as often as possible to get your other abilities back; keep empowered abilities rolling for as long as you can by constantly tagging something with your knockout melee. this build is made for constant rushing, aping, and being in the enemy's face and it does it good. toss a pulse grenade while you rush in and nuke ♥♥♥♥ with a one-two shouldercharge

if you'd like to see the build in action and how i play it shoot me a friend request and i'll show you sometime

Your best bet at a "one for all activity" weapon loadout is probably going to be Riptide + sunshot/graviton/any voltshot weapon + apex predator/edge transit/thunderlord.

For the best builds on each class I honestly default to:
Sunbracers Solar Warlock
Orpheus Rig Void Hunter
Synthoceps Solar Titan (Bonk)

Well, those are the most effective builds for f2p. Other than that the only other builds that's worth mentioning are arc titan with Skullfort, solar hunter with Young Ahamkara Spine, and arc hunter with Liar's Handshake.

HoIL got nerfed really hard and now only sees viability in some speedruns. Synthos is the best titan pick for F2Ps, nothing really comes close.

i would rather be able to throw four grenades and hit like five shouldercharges per minute than have a little melee damage bonus and have my super hit harder. would pick wormgod any day over synthos now too, if i really wanted to go for a melee setup. and if hoil ever got nerfed i can't tell because i can ♥♥♥♥ out abilities left and right like i've been able to for years

thankfully, im not really F2P anymore so im hardly limited on builds now. i have everything but final shape. so NOW, what are my options for builds with all classes? and no, i dont really have any of those DLC exotics yet, but when i do, what all CAN i do?

Pretty a lot actually, it depends on what you're looking for. I'll list some fun exotics for each class.

Hunter: assassin's cowl, gyrfalcon, caliban's hand, mothkeeper
s wraps.
Titan: pyrogale, abeyant leap, point contact cannon.
Warlock: swarmer, osmiomancy, necotric grip, fallen sunstar.

just focus on doing all the campaigns, it's gonna take a long while.
