Your Guns ?
Whack.
Your stats ?
Incomprehensible.
All jokes aside it needs serious amounts of work. Destiny game play is centered around build crafting. Its not a game where you just slap together a loadout. To have the most fun and have a shot at even basic level content you need to make sure your loadout has synergy between its pieces.
On the small scale it looks something like this.
You want 1 weapon to kill red bar weapons and deal chip damage
1 Weapon which is capable of dealing solid damage to bosses and yellows, or add clearing en masse and you want one weapon capable of dealing massive damage to bosses, or clearing adds. You already have this down at a basic level. From there you can improve your weapon synergy by finding Exotics (Gold weapons) and finding purple weapons with specific perk rolls to enhance their abillities. As a basic rule of thumb always remember this . A good role on a weapon should always include 1 Damage perk and 1 Reload perk. When you really get into build crafting you can throw that rule out but it will serve you well as you begin.
Then comes the actual build crafting. Builds are centerred around 3 things. 1) Subclass and elemental fragments. 2) Armor mods and armor stats. 3) Exotics.
For an example. One of My Favorite builds is my "Sunbracer build". This build is centered around the warlock exotic armor piece Sunbracers which on a powered melee kill give you unlimited grenades for 5 seconds. The entire build is foccussed around getting me the most value out of that exotic armor piece. For that reason I run armor mods which give me super energy on grenade kills, give me orbs of power on grenade kills, as well as melee energy. I then combine this with specific elemental fragements (Found under the basic abillities) which improve my grenades, give me healing on grenade kills, amp up their elemental damage, and upon scorch give me melee energy. Then along side this I run Fatebringer purple handcannon as its good for add clear and chip damage, Forbearance a gl which excells in add clear and damage and which can be used to top up melee energy and Gjallarhorn which all told gives me an excellent build capable of dishing damage out enmasse, while keeping me alive with a Well of Radiance ready to go whenever I need it.
So how do you create that kind of a build on a titan?
1) You need an exotic piece of Armor. Specifically one that works with your current element. The best 2 for you to get would be either "Heart of Inmost Light" or "Lorelie Splendor Helm".That being said just go to the exotic armor collection tab (Under collection) and actively read through the perk each armor piece gives. Once you find a few you think you can center your build around start grinding for them. How do you do this ? 1) The season pass gives exotic engrams. Armor can and will drop from them. 2) Just play the game they drop once and a while. 3) Everyweekend a character name Xur Appears. Each week he has 1 Exotic Engram, 1 Exotic Weapon and one class specific Exotic Armor piece. Not only that but all of them have decent stat rolls.
Now we get to the more tricky part. Armor stats for all the armor that wont be your chosen exotic. Here's the basics. Resiliance is king. Resiliance just gives you a flat damage reduction stat. You want that stat at 100. All others we can talk about but you are going to want that Resiliance stat at 100. From there here's what the other stats do.
Mobility= Speed
Recovery= Faster Heal time
Strength = Melee recharge time
Discipline = Grenade Recharge Time
Intellect = Super Recharge time
Of these its pick and choose which to focus into once you have your resiliance over 100. Grenade heavy build ? Take Discipline. Wanna go fast ? Mobillity. Need more help living ? Go with recovery.
Now how do you get armor that gives you 100s in those stats ? 1) By focussing your ghost onto a certain path. If you look at your ghost mod you will see one of them is called the _____ Armorer mod. For that you want to select Resiliance. Then you just go out an play the game. What you are looking for is armor rolls of 63 and higher and with most of those 63 stat points being focussed into 1 stat. For example I have a masterworked 67 stat chestplate. That chestpiece alone currently provides my entire build with 47 of the 100 resilience I have alone. Anything 60 below and not purple delete. Anything purple and below 60 keep for now but what you are looking for is purple armor with 63 + stats.
Once you have the well rolled armor then you upgrade it and begin inserting the armor mods that you need to make your build tick.
Once you have all of this you can then unlock the end game content of destiny. Creating a Dripping character. Fashion is the true endgame and any d2 player will tell you that.
I hope this helps !
Everything before is just filler and useless to validate.
Blue weapons and armour are really bad and basically should never be equipped. Any legendary is better than a blue, even one with a lower power usually. Also, its very important to emphasise that when it comes to guns, it's not about what guns you have, but about what perks you have on that gun. legendary weapons will always have random perks, and it's important to look at which perks a weapon has to decide if it is good. Your shotgun there could be anything from trash, to relatively decent, depending on what perks it has (what "roll" it has), but it's impossible to know without looking at the perks. It takes time and experience to figure out what perks are good and which ones you like, but it's something that new players often gloss over for far too long, like i did. Good luck guardian
Mobility: This determines the cooldown of The Hunter Class Ability. Also it does NOT effect run speed, only walk and strafe speed, as well as initial(non powered) jump height. This stat outside of Hunters is generally considered a trash stat in PvE.
Resilience: in PvE this gives you a small boost to health(very small), DR up to 30% at 100 Res, and determines the cooldown of the Titan Class Ability. In PvP instead of DR it gives you flinch reduction. One of the strongest stats in the game atm.
Recovery: In addition to determining when your health recovery starts and how fast you get health back(100 being the cap), it also determines the cooldown of the warlock class ability. If you are having trouble staying alive, this stat can make the difference between between living and dying IF you can get to cover to start health regen.
Don't worry too much about stats until you get into the very high 1700s, just pick the guns you like the feel of and the armor with the highest light level. Save your upgrade modules as they will be difficult to come by so you should probably use them to keep your guns up until you are close to 1800. In general as a titan you want to prioritize:
Resilience > Recovery > Discipline=Strength > Intelligence=Mobility. This is a baseline and may not apply to everyone in all instances though. The choice of discipline vs. strength is based on your build being melee vs grenade based.
Most importantly get your light level up and find out what kind of guns you like, as an example auto rifles, SMGs, and LMGs, are my personal favorites, so I tend to vibe best with builds/compositions that can utilize these to the fullest.
Aside: This should be the go-to build for players who _ACTUALLY_ want challenge, and not just internetdiva points.
I done lost sectors, but not the legendary one, and i dont have friends to do raid
85% of the game is easy, just some endgame stuff is harder like trials (which i don't recommend for new players).
GM's used to be hard as well until every build became op, which turned GM's into a joke (only the corrupted on GM is a pain, perhaps exodus black as well.. And there's also the lightblade one which mostly depends on the modifiers).
There's other content such as raids which are different in terms of their difficulty. The new one is easy but something like garden is harder. Keep in mind that raids are a group activity.
You are rude
He's not entirely wrong though.
