Anyone else hope they unvault the original campaign?

I played it with all three of my characters, not a big thing for me.
I do think it would be kind of nice to have all of the game available, but I don't personally miss the Red War, Forsaken was the best when it released, and I think Witch Queen is the best.

Red war was the best at explaining the characters and the setting for new players, its a crime not to have it as free to play content to hype up the starting experience.

Oh pulease, I played it when I started, no it was not good for teaching. Newlight is better for explaining characters and subclasses by a long way. Stop with the rose-tinted rearview mirror.

It's irrelevant to the game in its current state and would do nothing but confuse new users, so it can stay in the Vault.

Actually no, and at this point it is definitly not gonna happen. Now that they removed Cayde - 6 from 2 strikes and gave him a monument.
Nevertheless, it for sure would be awesome if they made a new f2p campaign, especially for new players. This "New light" thing from Shaw Han doesn´t really count.

I wish they'd the campaigns for Red War up to Forsaken, but include them as optional downloads that we could install and uninstall as we please. It's actually insane that new players are gonna be thrown into this story with no clue as to who Cayde or Uldren were.

Yes, the story was much more fluid starting from the beginning. The New player Experience is even worse, you're starting on the 4th book of a series.

If the game engine is too messed up to support all the content they need to suck it up and make Destiny 3.

Not really. Sometimes I get all nostalgic about it but then I remember what a slog it actually was.

Now, vaulting Forsaken, on the other hand, was a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ crime.

Most likely this may not happen. I think the vaulting in the first place was for technical reasons. To keep the games file size below 100 GB and to decrease server load although with all the random server problems as of recently, this didn't aid that it seems, or they are getting to the point again of having to get rid of more stuff that people barely touch.

I want all the old content unvaulted, I want to replay those raids again. The sad part is Bungie has so much potential but they never utilize it.

This! They also revamped Red War era content such as The Arms Dealer and now the strike serves as a modern day sequel to what it was. No need to complicate the existing sandbox anymore.

They did make Destiny 3. We're playing it.

Destiny 2 ended at the end of S11. Under Activion's direction, Destiny 2 would have ended there and nothing (characters, vault, story) would have been carried forward into Destiny 3.

Instead, Bungie called it "Beyond Light" and did everything they could to carry forward as much of the obsolete (non-viable) Destiny 2 content as they could (an act of kindness and good will for which they've received nothing but grief).
