Osmosis on Energy Weapons

Now that we have 2 types of darkness weapons (Stasis and Strand), I think Osmosis should start dropping on weapon in the energy slot. So, if you use grenade on a Strand subclass, your energy weapon would become Strand.
I mean, no one even uses Osmosis, but still lol

Osmosis is very strong with the right perk combos and in the right build, eg. I've got an autorifle with osmosis and target lock, a very strong combo. As it works now is fine, it's putting elemental damage on your kinetic weapon, when activating your grenade ability, until the weapon is stowed away.

it literally nerfs the weapon no?
strand isnt so bad for some fragments but you still lose dmg surely

Logically, it probably should, but bungie has mentioned how they don't like diluting the perk pool too much, and given it would be able to appear on all 3 elements of energy weapons, it would probably just be an annoyance overall

This is EXACTLY what i need for my strand build - im not sure what im going to sub it with but i'm leaning more toward Wave GL. Not having Osmosis energy though is 100% killing me.

No it doesn't????

non strand or stasis kinetic weapons have a 15% damage bonus. if you change the element, it loses the damage bonus.
