Ascendant challenge not awarded.

Hello. I had a bounty to complete the Ascendant challenge. I didn't know what it was so I googled it and found out. I followed the steps all the way. It told me I'd completed it and it was done. Then the bounty didn't activate. Anyone know why this would happen and what I should do about it?

You need to keep the sword with you until you head out the portal. If you drop the sword even once, it doesnt complete the bounty.

yes you can redo any ascendant challenge. Although you need to leave the area and come back to get the portal again.

The toland bounty has been bugged since 2018. Youre better off not trying to do it at this point.
