Titan pvp mobility
Hi,

If i have 100 resilience, 100 recovery and 20 mobility, i got destroyed. I think it's because my strafe speed is so slow, people have an easy time aiming at me.

If i have 100 resilience, 80 recovery and 50 mobility, it's way better. I died much slower. I can see my strafe speed make it hard for players to aim at me.

How many mobility does a titan need ?

I like to play Vex Mythoclast, No Time to Explain. My armor exotic : Dunemarchers.

Thanks.

It’s got close to nothing to do mobility, I’d actually recommend trying this:

100 Recov - Intellect - Discipline.

Or

100 Recov - Intellect - Resilience.

Personally I go for discipline as my play style I use grenades far more then barricade, but I accept that’s not always optimal so I aim for 50-60 Res.

The increase in jump height and directional movement just isn’t worth the basically nullified increase, you’re much better off learning to play with lowest possible mobility and pick something more practical for playing your life and helping teammates (Resilience) or something to gain an edge in fights and control pace (discipline).

Obviously not everyone has access to triple 100s so if that’s the case I recommend Recovery and Intellect being 100, then pick either of the remaining stats based on how you like to play, and getting that stat as high as you can.

I’m not saying Mobility doesn’t have some arguments for having advantages, but it’s certainly not as advantageous as the other two stats in their own right and usability.

50 mobility is a pretty good number. Some players shoot for 100, but it generally isn't worth it on titan. Less than 30 is badly hurting your peak shooting capacity, it's why peacekeepers are so busted - they provide a free 50 hidden mobility plus a 1.25x strafe scalar
try suppressive fire with auto rifles, you cant even imagine how stupid people are, they try to peek shoot at you, just unload the magazine and that messes them up :3

generally? 20-30 is fine, it's really not worth it on Titan, unless you are playing Icefall Mantle exotic then go for 100 mobility

also mind for cover when you are duelling with players in PvP

Your strafe speed is largely moot if you don't have a "Moving Target" perk on your main weapon (the one in which you would engage with at most ranges and probably prefer to ADS with).

Don't get me wrong, higher mobility can help with strafe-shooting, but the moving target perk enhances that even further, to the point where as a heavy "strafer" you may not even want to go back to doing without it.

Anyway, some people are really just crouch-ducking shots, even when strafing, these days - including myself, the inventor of the technique (lol). It's become more popular now that airborne effectiveness and over-slide idiots are a thing.
