Worst week of trials ever

So I am a 1.6kd in trials overall, last two weeks I have averaged a 1.85kd, I am no means the best player, but with only 300hrs in pvp I would say I have a decent kd for my hours.

This week of trials is utterly mind numbing, I solo queue - I get the worst teamates ever (0.6kd and lower) that die instantly leaving me in a 1v3 situation for many of the rounds. This happens constantly. They don't play as a team, teamshot, play revives/hold enemy revives, etc.

Duo queue/Trio queue - I verse the most sweaty players ever that do not leave their house that have 2kd+ I even versed someone with 12000 hrs in PVP ALONE, like wtf.

Furthermore, the added annoyance is when I get matched against someone from USA when I am EU and because of the ping difference I start to get ghost bullet, ghost melees, enemies rubberband all over when meleeing, it is ridiculous. And then finally I was having one decent card with my mate, we are on 5 wins no losses and then all of a sudden him and the random get booted leaving me in the game 1v3 when we were winning because of garbage servers.

Why is the matchmaking so ♥♥♥♥ this week? Servers are ♥♥♥♥ too. Peer to peer connection is terrible.

My conclusion: This week of trials has been the worst week of trials for me ever in the history of me playing trials, including destiny 1. How have has trials been for you?

"I get the worst teamates ever" It goes both ways. The less skilled players dont want anyone with a high kill rate on any team including their own for obvious reasons.

trials has been a major down for me.

I've tried to get into trials this weekend just because i enjoy the pvp in this game and thought "it cant be that much different to normal right?" as in competitive playlists and quickplay I'm typically the top or top 2 of the team doing very well.

However. I didn't own lightfall for the last weekend where immortal was the adept. and i've come to realise that trials is a ♥♥♥♥ measuring contest for the most part. no one is in there with different builds. I went 4/0 and then everyone i went against and played with (even when i reset) were using the immortal (more often than not the adept version) and some variation of sniper. I couldn't believe that i was the only one running anything else. literally.

This has pretty much been shown to me and i stopped caring about trials the second i got the hunter set. went back to playing comp and quickplay since they were fun.

maybe once the bans on the Xim, Cronus and all the other stuff people use i might give it a bigger go. since nothing quite pulls the fun out of it than facing someone already using an immortal and you can't really be sure if it's skill with how quickly they kill or not.

all in all. trials doesn't really offer anything i care about to try hard it and doesn't resemble the old trials from D1 i used to try and flawless every weekend it was available. Might play a bit more while it's up if i see it has any exclusive rewards i like. But otherwise it's clearly not my thing.

bro my cousin went flawless with less games than I have this week with a 39% winrate and a 0.6 weekly kd. not sure what kinda matchmaking bungie is cooking up this week.

I've been averaging 1.6 this season and dropped to like 1.3 this week, actual agony map

I went one round against an entire team who just sniped and used grenade launchers. Not sure how this mode is supposed to be fair for solo players but it's absolute ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, good thing they didn't put the best PVP weapon in the game behind this mode....
