LFG Discord Help

I know this isnt technically the place for this but hear me out because I'm sure at least most of you are in the server.

I've been getting into D2 for the first time but haven't yet gotten the new DLC. When trying to join the only active discord I can find for this game so that I can learn and play more, (destiny 2 LFG) I'm met with a registration error saying I need to own the new DLC or play more of the campaign. I've played everything a F2P player can play but I'd like to get into other parts of the game, which I can't do solo... can someone shed some light on how I can get into this server other than buying the dlc that I want to hold out on until I'm sure I actually enjoy the game with others?

I have no clue on that server...you could always join the official Destiny 2 server..it's pretty active and, from what I remember, they have quite a big LFG section:
