will my d2 progress reset if

i play d2 on epic games, and steam. my steam isnt linked to my epic games, but i want to link it. if i link steam to my epic will there be a choice to keep one or the other? or will steam overwrite all data.

pretty sure if you go to the bungie site and setup Cross save you will be all good :)

Character data is stored on Bungie's servers and is bound to the account that they are created on.

doesnt linking merge your account though? or if i did cross save will it give me the option to choose whether i wanna cross save from epic or steam?

hi, you need to choose your "main" save that will override other saves(dont delete, it just use same character and it will be avalable on all platforms with same progress)

If you have a Steam and EGS account for Bungie and have them cross-saved, any progress on the Steam version of the game will carry over to the EGS version of the game and vice-versa.

What will not carry over is expansions or season passes. You'll need to buy those on the platform you are playing on for them to work.

I only have steam I just got the legacy bundle on epic I want to link my epic to bungie if I do that can I choose to overwrite steam d2 data with fresh epic data? Essentially wiping account

Cross Save allows you to select the platform characters you wish to use across all linked platforms. There is no automatic processes on this.
