Reshaping the enigma quest bugged

I am stuck on step 6 of the quest. The quest wanted me to change the intrinsic first, then the trait, but I did both at the same time which has now soft locked the quest. Ive a seen a few other posts on reddit recently about this, but doesn't look like there is any solution.

Might just want to reshape it from scratch (delete the old one, and then create a new enigma glaive)

It's a public forum, he's entitled to respond and his comment was indeed useful. You do already seem to have the answer.

You could certainly check for known issues on Bungie's own site if you wanted, but odds are good that the most functional solution will be doing what AlphaVictorKilo said: Make a new one.

People have issues with Revision Zero shaping too, maybe something is off with crafting system.

I tried crafting another one, didnt work. The quest itself is bugged, I don't think its got anything to do with the glaive. Thanks for the suggestion though.

A lot of people are getting this now I noticed so it definitely isn't a you-problem.
As far as I know, there is no workaround for this unless there is a fix that I am not aware of.

Pretty much all crafting-based quest steps and triumphs are currently bugged.
Hidden Shape, Reshaping the Enigma, Mind Craft, Nightmares Take Shape, and similar.

I have the same problem but there are no tips or tutorial on the bottom of the screen. I'm gonna try doing on my other character after school

So I did try it on another character. After finishing the first mission of the witch queen campaign I went to the Relic Conduit table, without even getting the time to level the enigma to level 3 the quest line jumped straight to step 6.

"After reshaping my Enigma with both the enhanced intrinsic + enhanced trait, the quest did not progress but what I found to have worked for me is having the enhanced one equipped, then shape a new Enigma, then reshape that newly crafted Enigma with no changes. Some weird coding"

None of the above solutions have worked for me. So far I have tried:
1. Reshaped my original enigma with the enhanced intrinsic (no other changes therefore definitely doing things in the correct order). Quest did not proceed.
2. Updated a perk. Still nothing.
3. Dismantled original enigma, reshaped a new one. Levelled the new one up to 3 (otherwise you can't add enhanced intrisic traits). Added an enhanced intrinsic. Stll stuck!
4. Reshaped a third enigama. As recommended above, equipped the enhanced one and reshaped the newly crafted one. No advancemnt on the quest.

I now have 2 enigmas, wasted a lot of mats, and no progress.

Please fix this.

This quest is still bugged? I thought they fixed this in a patch a month ago. Idk, I followed what the link posted above said and it worked for me. Absolute joke that they haven't fixed this yet.
