Xenoclast shotgun farmable?

I haven't gotten one for a while and can't remember where I got one when I did. Can these be farmed currently and how?

You can get it from doing strikes. It's a pretty low drop chance though since the new strike shotgun has priority right now. You can certainly farm strikes for it, but you can also wait until Bungie reworks the vanguard playlist with the focusing system later this year (we don't know when they just said they were reworking playlists into the new system sometime this year).

EDIT: You can also get it as a rep reward from Zavala.

It can only be obtained from strikes. Like N33MA mentioned, it's a low drop chance now due to there being newer seasonal strike weapons out there, so you could either farm strikes for a chance to get more or you can wait until later this year for Zavala to get the Trials treatment.
