Why?
I have been using Ryzen processors since my R5 1600X, then R7 2700 and now R7 3800X. No, I don't know why, I'm having no issues.
Out of sheer curiosity....
How and where did you hear that laptops will hit 100% usage on GPU during play?
The only way for that to really happen is the memory leak that people have repeatedly been telling you is a thing that even Bungie is investigating.
And why are you not recommending AMD exactly?
I'm personally not an AMD user but you constantly give the absolute worst advice without ever backing your stance with concrete evidence other than you simply 'know' which isn't true.
I honestly don't even know if you are trolling anymore or you personally just want people to make poor choices in fixing their game or purchasing equipment.
Not that I am aware of.
A game that is 100% optimized though doesnt take up 100% GPU anyway.
There is a memory leak that some people have and bungie is looking into it though.
I have never heard of anyone with a laptop having trouble with destiny 2 and considering you can run destiny 2 on an Xbox One (not the latest one that came out a year ago) I cant imagine it having issues.
There's nothing wrong with playing destiny 2 on a laptop if your laptop has at least the minimum requirements to run the game, there are plenty of high end laptops with 3000 series cards in them that are build well enough to play something such as destiny or games that are even more demanding.
Considering the specs you have in your laptop, you should be totally fine. Regarding feline, just ignore her when it comes to actual technical stuff. She acts like she's a computer expert yet she already said she actually isn't one some time ago.
the game runs really well and apart from the nitro having quite loud fans im really happy with it.
it also came with a 144hz ips screen that is fairly decent.
youll be fine with either setup
AMD use to have a ton of problems but that was way back in before 2012. They really came up in the world again and is an absolute great counterpart to Intel.
Intel still pulls ahead but not by much and sometimes not even completely all while still being quite cheaper.
Besides the point though! I am more than happy someone was able to give you such a great response. I havent used a laptop for gaming for years but I saw the comments being made and I had to chime in.
