Quicksilver Storm Exotic weapon

I was thinking about making a pre-purchase just to get the Quicksilver Storm Exotic weapon.

I watched some videos on YouTube and it looks pretty awesome.

Questions:

1. is it one of the best weapons end game?
2. How does it compare to other end game weapons?

This is being sold as one of the best auto-rifles in game.

Money is not an issue for me but wasting money is. From what I've read only one person has said that the $100 is fair value.

getting a okish gun+ dlc + all seasons + some cosmetietcs for 100 bucks is a good deal in my eyes

it seems like the deluxe edition of lightfall keeps getting singled down to "Exotic is not worth $100" after you see all the explanations.

If you wanted to purchase it the day before lightfall releases, here's what you're actually getting for $100

- Lightfall Expansion
- New strand ability (grappling hook if we go off the picture)
- 2 new dungeons
- 4 season passes that probably each have an exotic just for having the season pass (level 1 paid track), that would otherwise cost $10/1000 silver each
- 4 Exotic ciphers that can be used to purchase 4 exotics from past "yearly expansions", not including the ones from raid or dungeon
- Exotic emote, sparrow
- Ornament and catalyst for Quicksilver-Storm, which is normally farmed
- The exotic gun itself, which will be available through the main campaign after pre-order (you still have to buy deluxe)

If you add all that up, no, you do not just get an exotic for 100 dollars, but all of that content.

What you do not get, which is not explained clearly, is access to previous season pass contents. You can only claim previous rewards, not level up the pass.

Fair value for what? Just the gun, or what you actually get for $100?
If you play a lot of Destiny, the $100 bundle is a bargain. If you don't play a lot of Destiny, just buy the expansion by itself when it comes out.

Not just the gun, it's just the prepurchase is for content to be released in 5 months right?

So since the gun is the only selling point as of now, I can hold off until December.
