This includes all story missions and quests and access to all activities, the only thing you don't get our the seasonal reward tracks for previous seasons.
Hunt, Chosen and Lost include exotic quests, Splicer didn't have one.
I see , since i already brought a pass with silver for Hunt back then and now Lost , do you think is it even worth getting an upgrade now?
there was a discount on upgrade tho , probably cuz of my owned passes.
When i add the deluxe edition upgrade to cart by clicking buy in-game , its giving me 35 % off in cart , 600 ( regional currency ) is the actual price , it went to 400.
Saying this below the item " This includes ₹ 200 discount for your account. 1 "
Probably because i already have base beyond light ( non deluxe ).
You would not see a discount unless you are missing any seasons. The price is set according to the content you have. I was thinking about getting the upgrade for a grandson, on my account it was full price like not having any seasons (I have them all), on his it was $30.00 (he only had one season).
I think you're mixing something up here as the Deluxe Edition Upgrade IS $30 at full price.

As I said outside of the +1 Season Edition there's no way for Steam to even know you ahve any seasons so they can't actually calculate a discount.
This is interesting and I'll have to have a few friends who are missing seasons test that one for me to see what prices they get.
EDIT: Can you clarify where in-game you're adding this from as I can't seem to replicate it with accounts that own the expansion but are missing seasons.
When in-game you click on Timeline in director screen , then click on a season you don't own and a promotional page pops up showing you all items you'll be getting when you purchase deluxe edition and on lower right there will be " GET IT NOW ".
No, not mixing things up, I was talking about the upgrade, not the Deluxe version but Deluxe upgrade, just buying the seasons and even said it was $30.00 ($29.99 is pretty much $30.00)
When I go to the store page, I don't see a Deluxe upgrade, only the full Deluxe package, so no discount (upgrade) shows for me. Now it's not showing for my grandson, guess because he doesn't have this season? I did not buy the upgrade because he took his 12 YO self back to only playing Fortnight.
people always miss this point out when talking to people who wanna buy seasons or not. if you want those quests and mods now then you should buy. but if you only want to play current content and can wait a few months to get all that stuff, thats also an option with destiny.
the kiosks in the tower make it so all seasonal content and weapons eventually go free to play
We can only say that for Ager's Sceptre, we can't make any definitive claims about Hawkmoon or Deadman's Tale as we have no precedent for random rolls exotics at present.
