Cookie bug?
Okay so I was trying to make a cookie for Zavala (12/14 and to all a good flight). For some reason the game says I have 0 ether cane. However when I try to craft a separate cookie (Hawthorne's one lets say) I can see I have 20 of Ether canes.

Am I doing something wrong?

It is incorrectly looking for Vex Milk, despite what it says. Get Vex Milk and it will become available to make.
