Should I buy Shadow keep?

Alright, so I'm basically (I'll explain) a Free to play player on PC, however I have bought and completed forsaken on my Xbox. Is the campaign worth it? I don't feel like buying Beyond Light, because it seems as if Stasis is the only useful item in the campaign, or should I buy the current season?

No no, Buying BL is really worth for everything in future, especially PvP.

i personally did enjoy shadowkeep more then forsaken, but only because the whole uldren saga had no impact on me as a newish player.

the campaign is short tho, shorter then forsaken. and once its done, you have some annoying bounties if you so desire, and "nightmare hunts" that are basically short, quick strike like "go in and kill some adds before reaching the boss".
im not sure if the now reissued moonloot ties into the nightmare hunts, but if not, then its almost no point doing those because so far they only dropped sunset gear.

i would recommend it, but ONLY if you find a nice deal on it. except for dungeon and raid theres not much to do thats worthwhile after you finish the nice, but ultimately brief campaign.

Shadowkeep was really really bad. I hated it trough and trough. Forsaken is the best expansion and Beyond light is quite good aswell. Just ignore shadowkeep. Hive is horrendous anyway

Every exotic out of Shadowkeep is top tier tbh. Yes, including Deathbringer imo. (Give it a go in PvP. People never expect it when you shoot a rocket above their heads.)

Campaign is meh. I wish the Moon weapons werent sunset since theres some absolute bangers (Arc Logic, Loud Lullaby)

Worth it on sale. Don't buy it for full price.

I think it's worth it for £10 on sale if you have friends to play with. the story is kinda poor, but you get a raid and a dungeon that are both pretty fun, plus as mentioned some great exotics like Xenophage

ShadowKeep = Xenophage

This alone is a good reason to buy it. Story-wise, cut short. But sadly for new players, they've missed out on the season that continued the story from the cliff hanger of ShadowKeep. So the model Bungo is currently on, makes it so new players would experience FOMO with the story. Or make them not care at all.

Ah yes, I understand. Especially when Bungo vaulted the old free dlc expansions and half the planets. I actually enjoyed Forsaken a lot, manly tears were shed. But yanno, to each their own.

Well, you'll be missing out on an extremely good raid. Deep Stone Crypt is literally a very fun raid to do, besides the music you'll be having an eargasming at the jumping part. Also no one really runs stasis doing DSC... I usually run as middle solar tree warlock for support. I understand that stasis IS a problem in pvp, but not as bad as the cheaters running lose. Frankly if we didn't have the stasis, it'll be a lot harder for people to even deal with cheaters in the salt mines.

The return of Hawkmoon and getting Cloudstrike is another good reason to get it. I mean, seriously Cloudstrike is OP with AoE once you do 3 precise hits. Hawkmoon is the same, no AoE, but you get a whole mag to stack the charges, last bullet hits like a train.
The story is pretty good for BL, I mean Exo Stranger is back and a main character in that expansion.

Sadly the BIGGEST CON is that Bungo is becoming like Bethesda and Bioware, so BL and the latest update is buggy. This alone would make people think twice about buying the expansions.

Frankly I can't even get on the game since the new update and hotfix went live.... Buyer's remorse is setting in...

In short, wait for the sale coming up.

They're on sale right now, I can buy both forsaken and Shadow keep for less than 25, what other sale are they going to have?

Following this logic, dont buy shadowkeep, because youre going to be part of the problem as well, being the player that support overpriced dlcs.

Well after this sale, there's summer sale. There's always Halloween sale as well, Thanksgiving+Black Friday and then Xmas Sale.

I would always suggest to buy the 2 old expansions on sale. Problem solved.

I really think Bungo made it that way to deal with the cheaters in pvp... >>; But ya it's pretty unbalanced. Besides the fact we also get fragments to buff our stasis skills and super, with the Warlocks having more slots to equip said fragments...

So? You know that they're going to nerf stasis more and more, just like they did with the forsaken supers to make them more balanced.

Sure, you could say that "overpriced" is variable, but what i miserably failed to say is that the recent decisions from bungie were bad, and buying shadowkeep now will probably be a bad call, plus supporting bungie with your money. I advise you to wait for more news from bungie regarding the reissued items from those dlcs, because paying what they're asking just for xenophage isnt really profitable imo

I think BL is worth it, neither because of Stasis nor the campaign, but because of the lore, I think it is really well made.
