A spark of hope quest

I'm still new to the game, and can't figure out why there is no quest waypoint to help me out.
I'm at the part of the quest where you have to go the cosmodrome, but once I arrive there is no waypoint to follow, and I have no idea what to do.

Hmm... haven't done that one. But ... press escape, then directory, then quests. Find the specific quest in your log and it should offer a bit more detail as to what you're supposed to do.

You can also click on it to set it to be tracked (which you can then call up using tab).

Go to Europe Dead Zone, Earth in Destinations. From there you'll want to go to Trostland and in the top of the church you'll find the guy to start it. First and closest part of quest right down below him. A door leading under the church. Fight them to complete that part.

thanks guys, however I fixed the problem my restarting the quest.
