how do i equip a finisher

its an up arrow and i cant figure it out

In case you haven't found out yet: Open the character menu, press S to switch to the appearance subscreen, on the right screen there is a skull icon, these are your finishers. Add finishers to your favorites then you can use finishers. If you only favorite one finisher, the game will only use that finisher animation, if you favorite multiple finishers, the game will randomly use your favorited finishers.

The up arrow icon is a bit of a sneaky one, as it's actually the shift key and not the up button (shift also has an up arrow). Took me a while to realise nothing was happening all the times it kept flagging the up command and nothing would happen when I naturally hit...up. Don't know why they didn't just write shift instead. Would save a lot of confusion.
