Mouse Exiting Window
Hey peeps, just reinstalled destiny after a couple months and now I'm having an issue where my mouse is entering my second monitor without alt-tabbing. I've been playing D2 on borderless fullscreen ever since I started years ago and now its doing this all of a sudden after reinstalling it. Just wondering if anyone has a fix that doesn't include going to fullscreen. I'm also wondering why now for no reason it would stop working like how it did before? Any help would be appreciated, thank you.

(The reason i don't want to use fullscreen is because when my mouse moves off-screen it repositions it in the middle. Just a little discomforting for me.)

It only does it when you have a pointer you can move with the mouse, in game play it doesn't do that. I love it because I keep DIM on the other display, so when I go to character screen to equip items I can get things with DIM.

See that's exactly why I love it too! But for some reason, when I look left during gameplay, my mouse goes outside the game and I'm unsure why.

Never had that happen, no matter the direction I look, look is what I do, no off screen mouse. Might you have something else running that can take focus from what you're doing to something on another display?

I'm also having the same issue, please let me know if you find a fix

I also recently just started having this issue. It came out of nowhere and nothing I do seems to fix it.
I tried setting my window mode to Fullscreen instead of Windowed Fullscreen, but that introduced another issue when my cursor is able to move around freely, like in the inventory. When my cursor touches the side of my screen where my cursor would normally transition to the other monitor, it's instantly snapped to the center of my screen instead.

When you're in full screen, the pointer should not leave that display, you need to Alt + Tab out to get to another display in that mode.

Same, just logged into the tower and turning now throws the cursor right out to my other monitor. (Borderless windowed) No idea what's changed but its essentially made the game now unplayable lmao. As if I needed another reason not to play.

Ive been having this issue as well but it happens with every game I have. I saw a post from Microsoft saying it was a bug with a recent update but uninstalling the update didnt seem to help at all so not sure whats actually causing it.

I just loaded up D2 and encountered this same issue. I wend to my device manager (I have windows 11) and noticed I had a extra mouse driver a long with the one I have (may be irrelevant) so I deleted all of the mouse drivers. My PC then did the whole blue screen and restarted. I loaded D2 back up and the issue was no longer there. So, maybe deleting and re installing the mouse driver works? I also play the game in Windowed Fullscreen

Just did this and it fixed the problem for me, thanks!! Uninstall the mouse drivers, unplug and re-plug the mouse, and the drivers will re-install automatically.

This actually worked thank you. I used windowed fullscreen because i am in and out of DIM all the time and alt-tab from regular fullscreen w/HDR monitor causes long black screens. THANK YOU
