Problem solved.
sadly we get freelance once a month instead of week like we should :/

you're losing the majority of your trials matches against non-stacks and yet you zero in on the few where you lose to a stack because it's easier to come up with some excuse as to why literally anything other than yourself is the reason for why you lost.
And to be honest anybody who whines about "try hards" as if it's somehow a negative to actually try to win the match deserves to lose.
Focus on yourself and what you're doing wrong and why, optimize your own build, your own playstyle, identify the weaknesses in how you play and practice covering them without sacrificing the strengths in how you play, then it doesn't matter if you're against a stack or not (not that it ever has, Bungie has even shown that the win/loss rates don't change in the slightest for people with the introduction of Freelance to Trials, you'd lose to 3 good players if regardless of if they're in a premade or not, and acting like simply being in a discord call quadrouples your damage and hp or some ♥♥♥♥ is ridiculous), you simply are the heaviest hitter in the lobby and you can carry yourself to flawless.
Can it? Sure...in high tier play where everybody involved is amazing at the game and that ability to make a call out is the difference between winning and losing.
At the level you play at? No. It makes zero difference. Those teams would beat you regardless of if they were in a premade or not, and trying to insist otherwise is make-believe.
The reason trials has matchmaking in the first place is because people screamed and mewled and cried about how unfair it was that only premade fireteams got to play Trials and that they wanted the pretty black and gold guns too, so Bungie opened the floodgates. Congrats, y'all got exactly what you wanted.
And the reason you're able to queue is because you earn progress towards engrams on a win or a loss, so it doesn't matter unless you're trying to go flawless, in which case do what we've been doing for years: playing as a team in the premier team-based game mode.
Although I do think that Freelance should be scrapped and just have it where going in without a fireteam makes it freelance (only face others going in solo) and if you go in with a fireteam you only face other fireteams
It wouldn't matter. Bungie has already released data from the first instance of trials freelance that demonstrated the win rates were practically identical. Freelance just needs to be done away with as a concept and Bungie needs to stop feeding this ridiculous mentality that it's somehow a detriment to other people to want to play a game with your friends. Time and time again we see there's no difference between the two outside the highest possible levels of competitive play where a single mistake can cost the entire match for every second of it.
