born in darkness part 1 not working

so im stuck on born in darkness part 1

"target affected by stasis"

wtf am i suppose to do here? i have the ability to freeze enemies in place with my grenade and ult but none of them give any progress. playing hunter so im on revenant

trust me i took to google before posting this
"Next, play 3 playlist Strikes with Stasis and defeat 60 targets affected by Stasis"

this does nothing. stasis i would assume is when the enemy is unable to move and becomes crystal like, i have let that run out and i have killed while they have it yet i get no progress on the quest

No, they can be slowed, not just frozen. It's just get kills on things affected by, not sure if killed by counts, it's been over a year since I did this. Sorry I was unable to help.

then i really dont have a clue on why the counter does not go up, as i had 2 friends with the same thing as we are doing the quests together. i had 100 kills in both runs so its impossible that i killed 0 enemies affected by it. il try again on sunday as im leaving for my parents tomorow and if it still doesent work i guess il remove the quest and pick it up again praying that it will work. this is just annoying

I can understand your frustration, I wish I knew the answer. I suspect it will be one of two things, a bug or you will figure it out and then wonder why you didn't notice it to begin with (the second has happened to me). At this time, I only know to wish you luck as I have no idea what to suggest.

I'm having the same problem, but only on my Titan - my Warlock and Hunter progressed through it no problem

not sure if this will help, but make sure that, if it asks for 'playlist strikes,' that you are not selecting a strike from the director, you need to do the strike playlist which is at the top of the 'strikes' thing in the director

With Warlock, the trick is using C not F for mele. Fire the bolt of stasis at a target and kill it with the flying bolt. NOTE the F super bolt from the staff does not count. The falsely named MELE stasis kill is actually a RANGED distance bolt kill. There is nothing MELE about it.
