How to restart campaign on the Moon

It is obvious by the UI that the campaign on the moon can be restarted. I want to do that. But it looks like either it is bugged or I do something wrong,

When I start the campaign from its icon on the Moon Destination Map, I play the mission where you enter the black pyramid under the surface. After the mission I am returned to the moon open world at the Eris camp. Eris npc has a campaign icon, suggesting I can proceed the campaign by interacting with Eris. I do that, but just the regular Bounty menu opens. No campaign progession.

Am I doing something wrong or this is a bug ?

Beyond is the final mission of Shadowkeep, and exists on the map as part of the "story catch-up" for new players. You'll notice this by it saying "This activity was set prior to the defeat of the Witness" on it.

There is no way to repeat the other Shadowkeep story missions once you've completed them, unless you go to a character who hasn't done them yet.

There was no story replayability back in the day unless you create a new character. There was a weekly story mission that rotates on a weekly basis like we still have today.

They did added a feature to replay the whole campaign with the witch queen expansion including with a higher difficulty of the story but never added such features to the older expansions prior to the witch queen.

After you complete the Shadowkeep campaign, you get access to a replayable campaign mission, which rotates each week. That mission is infinitely replayable, and nothing special happens when you beat it, there's nothing to 'continue' after it. Otherwise there's no way to replay the whole campaign.

Forgive me for having a sneaky peeky but I can see you've been replaying 'Beyond', Shadowkeep's final mission, on your Hunter. You finished Beyond, and therefore the Shadowkeep campaign, for the first time on March 14th 2023 ( https://www.bungie.net/7/en/User/GameHistory/3/4611686018505646201 ) so if you're trying to finish/continue the campaign here and now, all you're doing is just replaying a repeatable campaign mission offered to someone who has finished already.

So, Eris has the blue crown marker, right?
Could you check the Quest Archive at the Tower for a mission called 'Memory of Sai Mota'? If not that, then any 'Memory of...' quest.

It is a post campaign mission chain, once you complete one, the next becomes available the following week (ie Tuesday's reset), following ones should be available from Eris directly.
