Error code: BAT

I started playing again last June after a 7 year break... I have not had any connection issues until today (Tuesday), the same day of Destiny 2 updates.
I am not able to play any Onslaught or group activites as I keep getting sent back to orbit with the error message BAT.
I have checked my connection multiple times, and it is excellent. Over 890 Mbps download, over 40 Mbps upload, ping idle latency around 20 ms, download latency around 34 ms and upload latency around 28 ms.
I never have internet issues, so I can only assume this is a Destiny server issue.
I loved Destiny 1, but when it changed in 2017, I lost interest.
I also got so tired of all the server issues that they had back then, and after doing some reading and seeing their recent "promises" to fix the present server problem, I see that has still not changed.

Is this a wide spread problem, or is it me?

Swat, I went to the Bungie help website first, looked up the BAT error code and guess what? There "fix" was that it was something wrong with MY computer... not what I wanted to read.

Why does Bungie post on X, can't they run their own website? Oh wait, I forgot, they can't even keep up with their servers.

That's easy, it's because there is a much greater audience on social media websites / apps than their own website. It's easier to share messages across on social media than your own website which nobody bothers to check first.
