Report a translation problem
The issue was that it was waiting for a manual prompt to update - once I realised this and told the client to update, the crashes went away. The next time I experienced one, months later, I checked Avast and it was the same thing.
If you're not using Avast, probably not helpful advice, but...check Norton to see if it's waiting to update, maybe? Just in case.
For what causes it to crash in the first place I'm not entirely sure. I don't think it has anything to do with your anti-virus software (I use Avast). When do you get crashes? Only when alt-tabbing / while alt-tabbed?
What happens when you hold Alt+Tab? Does it show all your open windows like normal?
The game hasn't froze/crashed if you can hear audio. My method should be working.
