how is it possible to defeat a gambit boss almost instantly without cheating?

Multiple games in a row I've now seen a team take a boss from full health at spawn to dead in under 5 seconds. Like a third of his health bar gone instantly every second. Considering that this is right at spawn he still would have envoys and trash spawning around him as well

Most of what everyone here is saying wouldn’t kill the boss in one phase. All you would really need is oppressive darkness and well of radiance, and at least 2 anarchy’s. (I am a top 1% gambit prime player btw)

Thats really not much of a flex, my mates and I were top 1% just doing the Solstice matches.
You can 1 phase a regular Primeval in Gambit, not Prime, with a single Falling Guillotine w/ Relentless+Whirlwind+Taken Spec and Slayer x3+Oppressive and Weapons of Light, the more swords the faster it dies, all that changes is the speed of the nuke.

afaik Prime bosses can't be one phased even with a perfect set up, it's going to a 2 phase at minimum

Went and checked and it seems like you're right. That's probably for the best tbh.
