Any Sniper and Mountain Top can shut you down with 1 hit.

Arc also hits you harder, so if you are versus arc strider with super you have to be really clever, cause the staff blows you away.

Is there a context to this? Because without one, my response would be: it is pretty bad at everything other than add clear. Tether offers team DPS and crowd control, and is ranged so you are at much less risk while using it.

I think they're talking about Spectral Blades in PvP, they're pretty garbage in PvE.
