Still Clueless how Fighting Lion Works.
Maybe I am a complete idiot or my mouse is broken. I evne watched a video and still don't get it.
It does not matter if I release or just shoot or double tap Right Button, every time granade launches differently or detonates when it wants.

Any clues what I am doing wrong? Fun part is I have it with Catalyst...

If you're still not getting it to detonate on release or any difference at all between click and hold + release, then look into your mouse settings or the possibility of an actual mouse hardware failure.

Having auto-double click turned on would probably prevent the hold and release completely while being potentially difficult to notice otherwise.

Did you try holding the fire button then release when you want it to blow? Never used the launcher my self but i know there are a few out there that work like that.

You press to fire and don't let go of LMB until you want it to detonate. Do note that there is a minimum distance where you can't manually detonate it tho.

As the first two replies advised.

A fun weapon. Take a little time to experiment with it. Good spot is Mars with the continuous Cabal respawns and a little room to move.

As the above replies have noted, the FL has the intrinsic perk delayed gratification, where you can control the detonation of the grenade by releasing the trigger. However, quick-firing the weapon (releasing the trigger before the delayed gratification perk kicks in), will cause the grenade to explode on direct hit. I've found this a useful strategy when dealing with a boss and adds at the same time; fire and forget a direct hit, then turn around to deal with adds.

Not sure what "right button" you mean but to try to cover most basic issues:

Fighting Lion works with adjusting your normal method of firing (typically lift click).

If you just left click, it will fire off a grenade that can detonate on a direct hit but will bounce around and detonate after a set time if you don't directly hit something.

If you left click and hold, after a minimum distance, you can release left click and it will detonate on demand. Otherwise it acts the same as simply clicking with no hold.

The main key is learning the timing of the minimum distance before releasing to detonate and learning the general timing to make the detonation happen when the grenade is actually near enemies. It just takes practice to learn the right timings.

You may as well just spam through some playlist strikes using only the fighting lion and getting progress on your wendigo quest while you learn the timing -- as a primary ammo grenade launcher it's perfect for that. It doesn't pack the same punch as a special or heavy ammo grenade launcher though.

After 5 games I still don't get it.
Neither of things work, either holding and releasing or simply clicking it :(

Hold left click. When you release it the grenade will explode.

Imagine kill people with FL on Sniper Range, feels good man, almost orgasm.
Les Grossman May 14, 2020 @ 1:53pm
It only manually explodes after launching it at significant distance, you need to hold it for several seconds. If you try to manually explode it at mid range or up close, it won't.
Illusive Soul May 14, 2020 @ 1:59pm
It still blow if directly hiting target.
