Opinion on The Red War and other Vaulted Campaigns?
I feel like they should bring it back, the Red War was a good campaign it made a lot of new players like the game, even newer players went back to buy D1. It was a good introduction and a good campaign. With the TimeLine introduction they should make it so you can go back too the Red War or anywhere in the TimeLine and be able to play it, so you can play the completed timeline for D2. It would give more newer players a chance to get hooked and it would be more content and replay value.

No one likes seeing the content be removed. But there were technical and financial reasons for doing so. Those reasons have not changed.

The odds of the locations eventually reappearing exist. The odds of the older campaigns ever returning are, in my opinion, slim to nil. The game presents a timeline of events. History has moved on from the older stories.

I believe the old locations will re-appear after we have killed The Witness. However, as for the Vaulted content, I don't think Bungie would have the budget to put it all back.

The red war campaign was boring, and the reason I never really started playing this game until my friend bugged me to play it and told me it gets better. The campaigns honestly were the least interesting part of this game. Dungeons, raids, getting exotics etc are a lot more fun imo.

On the note of things getting removed I really miss zero hour(outbreak) and the whisper missions though. They were the most fun content in the game for me, used to do them weekly just for fun, miss that forsure.

I loved the Red War campaign. It was my proper introduction to Destiny 2 after quitting it the first time, was sad to see it go.

red war sucked tbh the mars/mercury expansions however were great still though i dont really care about it coming back its not like anyone who already played them would do them again

rip escalation protocol tho that event slapped

Eh, I do and don't want the Red War back. On one hand, some of the missions were fun (Homecoming, Spark, whichever EDZ mission had the tank, 1AU, & Chosen). On the other hand, it was ultimately boring and overall forgetful. Even when there was daily rotating story missions, it wasn't worth doing (not to mention that some of the missions were never replayable save for the very first Solstice). While they could certainly give it a facelift to match Witch Queen's campaign, idk if it'll be enough.

As far as other expansions go, CoO and Warmind aren't worth bringing back. They both sucked as stories barring some key events, and the former in particular was just a bad DLC overall. Forsaken I wouldn't mind coming back, but I'd still see no reason the play it after the first time unless it gets the same treatment as WQ.

the raids and secret missions, and certain strikes need to come back. do not care for the old campaigns and destinations, they can stay vaulted. bringing back the Leviathan raid this season would have been an easy win for Bungie, don't understand why they haven't done it seeing as all the files are in the game again. probably due to visual changes in the Leviathan, but still, I think they could have worked around that if they really wanted

lol, mf's really saying red war is bad whilst it happens to be the coolest of every campaign we have rn besides witch queen.

I definitely would play red war again, many people actually would.
none of the campaigns were good, but removing content to preserve file space and to push players into purchasing the new stuff is just sour. I dont care what excuse you make of it, it is scummy.
But fr, leviathan has to be one of the best looking places in the entire game, same goes with a few removed places

I'd rather had done the Red War as a newer player than the crappy campaign they started me on/rushed me through. It might not be exciting for an original player, but look at it through the eyes of a newer player who was rushed through a boring quick campaign. I didn't care much for Shaw Han's stuff at all. His map is by far the most boring one of them all. I really dislike the Cosmodrome.

Fair. I also think the Red War was a better starter, but that's because I'm an older player. It'd be very confusing for new players given how the story is now structured.

Hmm... never played Destiny 1. So .... yeah, it was confusing. At the same time ... it was still a pretty fun opening campaign. I didn't feel too compelled to go back to it however.
