Upgrading legendary gear to artifice.

Imo, by using 5 exotic ciphers we should be able to upgrade one piece of legendary armor to artifice.

Most of the community doesnt even do master dungeons and if they do, they just grind one encounter on a weekly....

Only would worth it if it guaranties that the stats will be better than I already have on my common legendary. I have 2 artifice piece and both are even with the extra stat just wont even come close to what I already have so whats the point spending 5 ciphers on RNG?

Im just asking to be able to upgrade legendary gear with an artifice slot by using 5 exotic ciphers; like you can do with exotics.

Five is way too expensive, but I definitely like the idea! Perhaps spending one Cipher plus materials for a random roll?

The idea is not about spending materials for random artifice rolls, which is a good idea in itself.

Its more about taking gear with already determined stats and just adding the Artifice slot to that pre existing gear. I think 5 exotics ciphers is a really good trade off.

The amount of work you would have to put into getting 5 Ciphers isn't worth it lol
You could just go into a master dungeon and get Artifice Armor way faster and easier.

Five cyphers?! Getting those materials would be way more of a pain than running a master dungeon to get artifice armor as a drop.

Look you guys are missing the point. You could grind low stat artifice armor over and over again, till you finally get the rng for a nice stat roll. Or stack ciphers by collecting them, then upgrade your favorite high stat armor. We get tons of ciphers from the season passes.

Bonus: you could still waste your time grinding armor while people that have stacks of ciphers could use them better.
