lightning surge

[I will need some help]

I have done the exact steps necessary to receive lightning surge aspect for prismatic warlock and i got nothing out of the chest it the aspect comes from.

Is this on your main character (the one playing the Destined Heroes/Lost in the Light/Found in the Dark questline) or an alt?

If it's an alt, it doesn't come out of a chest, it comes from completing 'The Hollow I', launchable from a banner stave at the Lost Tower.
