How so, care to explain?
Who led you to believe you would get that in the time you give?
To be scammed, someone would have to have led you to think you would get something you did not. Having a slim chance to get something is not a promise you will get it.
Farming higher level activities and ritual activities and completing weekly challenges that reset every Tuesday have a greater chance to reward Exotic Engrams which you can then take the risk and decipher them instantly at the Tower with Rahool and hope to get a decent piece of exotic armor you're after; or you can choose what item you want out of it for a cost, again with Rahool by going into the boxes where the items available for your class will show and what the cost is in addition to the Exotic Engram. The latter guarantees a better roll of points per perk that, at the end of the day, make you strongest with the highest roll. My highest level item is a pair of Orpheus Rigs for the Hunter that totals out to 90, it's one I paid a hefty cost for in materials in exchange for the perfect roll and I love it and I would do it again.
Every so often, just playing in general in the open world will drop an Exotic Engram as well. Getting them obviously is not a challenge but if you're after something specific, then a little homework and budgeting of materials will pay off.
I was just trying to be helpful, pointing to a table of the bright engram drop rates. What I said was that the table was slightly out of date as there are things on the table that are no longer in the game. Why you getting snippy with me?
If you post something in a way that looks like you're serious, why would I take it any other way? Something as simple as a /s after something shows it's sarcasm. Thing is "feel scammed..." doesn't look like sarcasm.
