Missing memento

I came back to the game now after a bit of a break, I went to the forge to shape a kept confidence & i really wanted to put my twilight keepsake on it but the memento slot is empty and I dont have a fizzled version of it in my inventory. I know for a FACT i unlocked it when it came out. Where is it? Its just missing, nowhere to be seen. When I go to the shader preview the game acts as if I never had it. I need some serious help here, what's going on! I just want my memento back.

If you dismantle the memento it will pop up to apply it on your crafted/enhanced guns. They recently changed it to where they are no longer items and are a separate resource within the memento section of the gun. Older mementos upon dismantlement will be replaced with the new one when looking at the memento slot for a crafted or enhanced gun.

actually my old mementos where still working the way they used to but were also unlocked for non crafted weapons.
the forged version disappeared though after applying, so thats like before.
